Mark Salud, born and raised in New Jersey, was exposed to dance at a young age from line dancing at Filipino parties to watching artists dance in music videos. His first opportunity to perform came as a freshman in high school he performed at his high school's Asian club talent show. Upon entering Rutgers University, he joined RAPS Dance Troupe and danced with and choreographed for the team for 3 years. After a brief stint with FR3SH Dance Company, he then danced for and co-directed The Society for 6 years. In his time within the competitive dance circuit, Mark has had the opportunity to perform at competitions such as World of Dance NJ, Prelude EC, and Defining Rhythm as well as teach workshops all around New Jersey, New York, Boston, and Philly. Mark currently teaches hip-hop at various studios as well as co-runs CreativExchange, a community centric organization that provides classes and workshops in the Rutgers area.
